We are a source of many beneficial insects for:

We work hard to supply most of the commercially available beneficial insects for a fair price. 

Ordering Deadline:

Beneficial Insects need to be ordered by Noon, Pacific Coast time, on Thursdays for delivery the following week.

There is an opportunity to add to the order on Monday morning at 8:00 a.m.  Orders received after noon on Thursdays are subject to availability.   Exception are Aphidus and Encarsia.  The deadline for these beneficial insects is noon on Thursdays.

Inventory:

We try to maintain a rolling inventory of Stratiolaelaps (formerly Hypoaspis miles).  Most of the time, there are some tubes available.  Some weeks we run out.  Inventory of the Stratiolaeplaps each week is subject to availability.  

We do not maintain a rolling inventory of other beneficial insects.   We bring them in fresh every week.  They will work better at your place if they are fresh.

All other beneficial insects are brought in fresh each week on Wednesdays.

Shipping:

Summertime Shipping - During the summer, shipping has to be FedEx Standard overnight or FedEx Priority Overnight for all shipments East and South of Oregon.  The bugs need to be shipped as quickly as possible to the hot and humid areas of the country during the summertime to prevent them from expiring in the box!

For Oregon and Washington, we can ship FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery during the summer, since that is a next day delivery.

For shipments in the Northwest we use FedEx Ground . The charges are prox. $10.00 (depending on weight). Deliveries are usually overnight.

For shipments beyond the Northwest, we could use FedEx Ground, 2nd Day or Express. We receive most of the insects from Canada on Wednesdays. The insects are received and shipped on Wednesdays via FedEx. 

Please specify how quickly you would like to receive the beneficial insects. Please remember that they are a perishable product that usually requires quick shipping.

We are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest state of Oregon. Most shipments in the Northwest and Northern California can be sent by FedEx Ground service. Beyond the one day, the shipment would either need to be Overnight or 2nd day FedEx.

Shipping Day:

Wednesday is the normal shipping day for shipping the beneficial insects.  Thursday is the shipping day when Canada has a holiday on a Monday.  For US, holidays on a Monday 'usually' do not affect the shipping day.  Holidays, such as the 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas can affect shipping depending on the day of the week of these holidays.
